Bhatra
The Bhatra are a smaller Indo-Aryan tribe of eastern and central Bijapur, culturally and linguistically allied with the Halba. They are renowned across Bastar for their folk-dance and folk-theatre traditions, and historically served as ritual specialists, dancers, and bards in the courts and temples of the region.

Bhatri — an Indo-Aryan language closely related to Odia and Halbi; bilingual speakers also use Halbi and Chhattisgarhi
