Regal Cenotaphs
Established in the 14th century by Sanyasi Shah, Kutru Zamindari later saw rulers such as Nizam Shah (1887–1920), honoured with the title “Sardar Bahadur” in 1911, and Kesari Shah (1920–1947), whose authority was restored in 1941 by British administrator Mitchel. Today, the cenotaphs of these zamindars stand beside Kutru pond, lying in quiet neglect where once offerings and homage marked their legacy.
